AWW, i miss camp so much! How are you guys doing?! My apologies for this late entry! Its two weeks since camp ended! So hows all our salt & light lifestyle coming along? I hope we're all inclining towards the standard of Christ!
You should not be foreign to this saying "WHAT MATTERS IS HOW WE LIVE OUR LIVES AFTER CAMP". Camp is put to effect only when practical application happens. And this blog is not going to be archived till next year, its vibrancy & utility relies on you. Tell you what, i give my pact to post up the pictures from camp, and some barangs to keep you people entertained, I PROMISE.

But i need some help here, can you people pigeon your testimonies, unit pictures or just anything about the camp you're compelled to share about to dawn.kez@gmail.com? I'll be waiting.

Yes, i made that up. Cus i need some means to express my elation that camp is so near, and almost the entire Poly/Di population has registered! You know something, we shall rock Downtown East upside down on the 14th to the 17th, all limelight on us please! Escape Theme park, Wild Wild wet can just stand aside and smack flies maybe. All of you should be in for it! Enriching teachings & impartations! *spin a few failed cartwheels.

EXCITEMENT, excitement, EXCITEMENT. Agree with me, we've got an excitement more than we can handle right here! Gen Next makes you high, someone give me your Amen! So you see it here, Jeyraj needs some of you budding talents out there to raise up your hands and surrender your giftings to the Special Night! So, as the commotion about camp amplifies every next moment, you guys better not be caught, un-registered! I've got a suggestion here, go around your own campus and unearth the un-registered people and you know, bug and pester them. I've compiled a list of WHY YOU SHOULD BE REGISTERED FOR CAMP reasons, make some brain space for it and chant it to the un-registered.

1. Payment need not be made immediately after registration, payment can be made at a later time.
2. The aftermath of not going for camp is digressing, awfully upsetting and UGH, you won't even want to smell your caregroup counterparts' fulfillment from the camp!
3. Its 3 concrete days of fellowship, Word of God input, P&W, games, workshops tailored just for you, sky scrapping standard of food and accommodation AND all these contributes to the life transformation that anticipates if you go with a responsive heart.
4. Its the biggest event of the year in PolyDi, you sure you are ready to miss it?
5. Challenge your faith and go, God has never shortchanged anyone.

So now you know some good persuasive reasons! Start challenging everyone to register. 120 Full timers and 50 Part timers, break it PolyDi! Life transformation awaits!

GENERATION NEX...US RECEPTION
Like really, we thought all that hustlebustle and human traffic at Nexus Reception was not enough on every other Saturday's 500PM timeslot. We had to cause more commotion than a liondance troupe and an insane liveband added together. Well, we just did it with 10 over green mascots figurines made up of the committee members, who unifiedly had a plaster somewhere stuck on their faces and in green shirts even the blind could not overlook. Then we top it up with 4 more than attention seeking walking mascots carrying placards screaming "I Qualify!" parading the entire waiting area. Did i mention the sloppy slippers, highpants oldschool style and prancing ballerinas? Oh PolyDi, i hope you do see our efforts to bring Gen Next'06 closer to you, we hope it won your heart to come for this camp! Oh yes, and we had that million dollar business, BLESSING POINT welcoming all of us with its roaring business at the Nexus Reception too! Here some bites;

Ok next , i really want to thank God that he really blesses us , our fund raising team. God really blesses our team to earn more then 400 bucks for our first selling!!! wow!! it must be God favour upon the team. definitely thank God for Joris and Her team YEAH!!

God is really with us in the whole preparing and setting up of the camp. Everyone really put in their very effort .. from publicity to blog , to fund raising to our games.

SO PPL lets really sign up for the camp! You will somehow lose some money because you need to pay for the camp, but if you dun go for the camp you will trully able to keep the $$ with you .. BUT YOU WILL LOSE OUT A WHOLE LOT OF LIFE TRANSFORMINFG MOMENT AND GOD's WORD from the camp!!

REGISTRATION FOR GEN NEXT'06.
y'all can start registering! Instructions as below.

so how to register?

Step-1: Be interested to go for camp.

Step-2: Click on the thumbnail that screams "CLICK ME!" on the right hand column of this blog. You will obtain the registration form.

Step-3: Fill in the required particulars, double check and save it in this format: CG-FULL NAME.

Eg: File Name: SP1- Gabriel Ho Jun Ming

Step-4: Email the saved registration form to your respective campus' mailboxes. The subject of your email should similarly be in this format: CG-FULNAME

Eg: Subject: SP1-Gabriel Ho Jun Ming

Eg: Registration sent in on: 17th Feb. Payment date would be: 18th Feb.

Registration forms that are sent in after every Friday, 12pm, will have to make payment on the next Saturday instead of the following one.

Strictly no registration forms will be accepted after 11th of March.

Subsidies: For any requirements of subsidies, please inform your respective Unit Leaders. We need their approval and for them to send in the subsidy registration form. Subsidy form is to be sent in by 11th of February

Uls are to send the forms in in this format: Subsidise-Cg-FULLNAME.
Eg: File name: Subsidise-SP1-Gabriel Ho JunMing
Email Subject: Subsidise-SP1- Gabriel Ho JunMing

Step-5: Let your leaders know once you have registered and give them your camp fee so that they can make payment for you.

how to make payment?

Earlybird payment (11 Feb-25 Feb): $135/-
Normal payment (26 Feb - 11 Mar): $145/-

The above stated fee applies to both Full and Part time campers. Payment are to be done in cash terms, please provide exact amount as no change will be provided.

A payment collection booth will be station at the Nexus Reception every Saturday from 430pm to 530pm & 730pm till 800pm for CLs/CLAs to come forth and make payment for their members. UAs will be stationed at the booths to collect the fee from their campus members.

*All queries can be posted on the tag-board, replies will be given promptly.

He has been working dilligently behind the scenes just to let you guys know all about Gen Next'06.Yes, who else but our publicity i/c, Alvin Timothy? You have sure seen his works on the big screen of Nexus. Guess what, you're in for better ones in the subsequent weeks!

We all need some adornment even if its camp. Aifang will do just that! Camp banners and its affilations are her job scope. Like the camp logo? Thank God for her!

"Lights, check. Sound, check. All media personnel on standby.." Drumrolls for Leslie, Media Head for Gen Next' 06! The technical factors of the P&W sessions will be exceedingly good, put your confidence in Leslie!

You have definitely seen her in the Front of House in Nexus Auditorium. Joey is our sound personnel in camp this year as well! Her picture is doing no justice to her, she's friendly and approachable, no fret. Sound quality? sat sat!

Explicit picture from Scary Movie 4, tsktsk. We all have this love-hate feeling for games i/c. Though they always tekan us but camp w/o vigourous games is apparently incomplete. Applaud for Yuhan, she's taking up this role this year! So we are in for some good activities for sure! Yes, you are allowed to throw eggs at her on the last day of camp. (:

No no, he's not one of the cast in School of Rock, he is Richard. You can snap your fingers and holler "Music please!" to him! Simply because he is our Music i/c. He and his anointed band will bring P&W in camp to a higher level. Right, Richard?

"Sing with me, How great is our God~" No mistakes, Jeremy and his team will croon for you in camp. Uhm no, i ain't so sure if they provide room service for anyone who needs a good lullaby. You can ask him about it!

Its probably a tradition that the last night of camp needs to be a little exceptional, gala and mind blowing so that the memories can last a lifetime. This time, Jeyraj will see to that! Say hi to your Special Night i/c!
